Experts in "Transition Zone" Lawn Care
Maryland is situated in what lawn care experts refer to as the "Transition Zone" experiencing both the colder temperatures of the North, and the hot humid summers of the South. These diverse conditions can be a challenge for homeowners.

Mission
I started The Lawn Lab because I fell in love with the process of transforming yards and I am tired of companies that cut quality to maximize profits. Honesty and communication is just as important as fertilizer and grass seed.
Sustainable
As a native of Southern Maryland, the Chesapeake Bay is at the center of our identity. The Lawn Lab practices Integrated Pest Management, meaning I use chemicals where they are needed, and none where they aren't. You wouldn't take medicine everyday just in case you get sick. We approach lawncare the same way. We won't broadcast 'Weed N' Feed' all over your yard if you only have a few weeds - and we don't need to completely kill off your lawn to get great results from a renovation.

Realistic
Your lawn isn't a golf course. Maryland is in the middle of the "transition zone" meaning we get cold winters, but also hot and humid summers. This makes maintaining a lawn difficult. Even with perfect inputs and management, Mother Nature always wins. If your lawn isn't looking it's best, I'll be honest with you about what it'll take to get it back in shape, like an overseed, or extra watering. Whatever your lawn goals are, I'll work with you to make it happen.
